The seventh issue of the SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action Newsletter has been published.

An EU SHIPSAN ACT training course was conducted from 5th of March till 7th of March 2014, Greece on board the cruise ship Louis Olympia which was docked at the port of Piraeus, Greece.

The Greek Ministry of Health in the framework of the Greek Presidency 2014 Chief Medical Officers’ Meeting, will organise a session titled “Sustainability of the EU SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action – Focus on the essential components to be supported: hygiene and health inspections, training of port health authorities and communication platform”. 

The sixth issue of the SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action Newsletter has been published.

The EU SHIPSAN ACT JA has published a leaflet containing advice to international travelers for a healthy voyage.

The fifth issue of the SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action Newsletter has been published.

The EU SHIPSAN ACT JA has created a banner to use in meetings and training courses.

The EU SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action was presented at the Association of Port Health Authorities Annual Conference which was held in September 2013 in Newquay, Cornwall by Mrs Andrea Smith, Deputy Chief Port Health Officer, Manchester Port Health Authority

The EU SHIPSAN ACT training course on “Inspection of Hygiene & Health Standards on Passenger Ships” will be conducted in the port of Piraeus, Greece from Wednesday 5th to Friday 7th of March 2014.
