A preparatory meeting for the 1st General Assembly meeting and the Interim Collaborative Group meeting of the EU SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action was held in Athens, Greece. Representatives from DG SANCO, from the Consumers, Health and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA), the president of the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention, the Joint Action coordinator and the Joint Action Manager participated in this meeting.

Training course - Hygiene & Health Practices on Passenger Ships

This course has been co-organised by the EU SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action funded by the European Commission, DG SANCO (20122103) and the Italian Ministry of Health, and is designed for operators, officers, crew of passenger ships. The preferred participants would be working at manager or supervisor level, and the training is intended to help allow them to then train others.
